Retained by Robert Redford to create and execute a multi year master plan that would revamp this 6,000-acre mountain resort and arts community founded in 1969. Facilities included 110 cottages, 2 restaurants, retail shops, alpine and nordic ski areas, equestrian center, 900-seat outdoor theater and extensive conference areas.
After 20 years of annual cash losses a new operating model was put in place that increase annual revenues 700% in six years and took the property to a profitable basis by Year Three.
Coordinated the development and execution of a $20 million multi year master plan, which resulted in the resort redefining itself from a regional property to an internationally recognized destination resort. Sundance is the only condominium hotel resort to have been selected for the Conde Nast Gold List and Travel & Leisure's Top Ten.
