The property is a historic property that had been a famous “hideaway” for the rich and famous of Hollywood in the 1940’s & 1950’s. Retained after purchase of property by Auberge Resorts to bring this 110-year-old landmark resort in Santa Barbara back to its former grandeur.

Developed the multi year master plan that provided for a complete renovation of the 52 guest cottages, restaurant and bar, pool and fitness center and horse facilities. Implemented new operating and service standards at the property that resulted in achievement of international recognition by travel media. The road map put in place for both the physical and operating renovations for the property has resulted in the property being ranked as the #4 hotel in the world in 2010 by Travel & Leisure magazine.
