Retained by the Japanese ownership group to bring the property to a Five Diamond Award level and to oversee a major upgrade to the resort infrastructure.

Project director for the expansion project consisting of the CanoeHouse restaurant and addition of five ultra deluxe Bungalows. The Bungalows opened in 1989 with average daily room rates over $3,000 and occupancy levels that were double the levels of any other property in Hawaii at that time.

Responsible for upgrading the operational standards of this luxury resort featuring 349 ultra-luxury rooms and suites, 6 restaurants and lounges, banquet facilities and extensive sports and recreation facilities. This effort resulted in receiving the AAA Five Diamond designation.
