Development of an eco friendly luxury resort in remote location.
The Lodge at Pico Bonito, La Cieba, Honduras
Member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World

After Hurricane Andrew the Lodge at Pico Bonito was funded as a joint venture between private US investors and the Honduran government to bring high-end tourism to this area of the country. Located in an extremely sensitive ecological area the property was not only the first luxury resort in the region but also the first eco resort in the country.
ResortClubs was contracted to perform the pre opening consultation for the resort and environmental programming, overseas hotel marketing, resort product development and staff training for this 22-unit luxury eco lodge in the rain forest of Honduras.
The property was ranked by National Geographic one of the Top 50 Eco Lodges in the world, ranked by Travel + Leisure as on of the Top 50 romantic hideaways, and designated by Conde Nast Traveler as "the new generation of eco-lodges".
